Autistic Experience Consultations

Autistic Experience Consultation in Little Rock And Online

Helping autistic persons or someone close to an autistic person get to a better place in their lives.

Sometimes being autistic can make things feel really overwhelming. Perhaps right now, it's one of those times.

Most people who benefit from an Autistic Experience Consultation feel lost in life on some level, unsure of how to find their way. Perhaps you can relate? Maybe you feel like you want to escape your life or you know you'd be happier if you made changes but it feels safer and more comfortable to stay the same. Or maybe it feels impossible to change.

Stuck in negativity and feeling unsure of what I'm even feeling, you may feel like life is simply too hard.

Do You Feel Panicky, Empty, Overwhelmed?

Do any of the following resonate with you?

  • You fight all the time with your partner.
  • You feel like you lack motivation to do anything.
  • You feel lonely, even when you are with others.
  • You feel unable to do your day-to-day responsibilities.
  • You feel fear stricken, even in the "comfort" of your own home.

If these sound true for you, we want you to know that you're not "crazy." And even though you might feel alone in your struggle, what you are going through is common and it's okay to ask for help.

Even if it feels like you've tried everything or nothing will help, you deserve to not be alone in feeling that way.

How Autistic Experience Consultation Works

Autistic Experience Consultation consists of 50-minute, one-on-one sessions that help you address a specific concern or pattern. In addition to listening, your consultant will provide guidance based on their experience and share what the science tells us about what's going on for you. They play an active role. Here’s how it will work step-by-step:

1. First, your consultant will provide a safe, accepting space so that you will feel comfortable sharing your struggles with them.

2. You will work with your consultant to identify the pattern or miscommunication you'd like to address.

3. Keeping your unique goals in mind, you’ll figure out what’s needed to help you reach them.

4. Your consultant will also provide explanations of what might be happening, the competing patterns at play, and suggestions of how to adjust the cycle.

5. Over the course of your 1-3 conversations, you will identify practical yet accessible adjustments to make to your normal rhythms.

Consultations are not therapy.
